Abstract
A case of infrasellar craniopharyngioma is reported. This must be the first report that presents computed tomographic findings of an infrasellar craniopharyngioma. A computed tomography scan demonstrated the characteristic features of a tumor at the base of the skull extending massively into the nasopharynx, prepontine cistern, and suprasellar region. Further, air-contrast computed tomographic cisternography suggested the extradural growth of the tumor. We confirmed these neuroradiologic findings at a transsphenoidal operation.Entities:
