Puncture of a nondeflatable Foley balloon using ultrasound guidance.

Abstract

A simple and safe method of releasing a nondeflating Foley balloon urinary catheter is by puncturing the balloon with a 22-gauge Chiba needle via a suprapubic approach under real-time ultrasound guidance.
