A new antegrade femoral artery catheter needle set.

Abstract

A needle-catheter-guide wire combination designed to overcome the problems inherent in introducing a catheter into the antegrade superficial femoral artery is described. The set includes an extra long puncture needle and a preshaped catheter sheath with a wing-shaped steering device.
