[Percutaneous insertion of the cardiac catheter in ventriculo-atrial shunt].

Abstract

The authors describe a technique of percutaneous insertion of the distal catheter during ventriculo-atrial shunting procedure for hydrocephalus. This technique avoids surgical approach of the internal jugular vein and allows its preservation.
