The application of de-epithelialised "turn-over" flaps to the treatment of inverted nipples.

B Haeseker.

Abstract

A simple technique is described for the surgical correction of inverted nipples: a combination of a method utilising the excision of three rhomboid skin areas of nipple and areola with local areolar flaps filling the post-excisional dead space beneath the nipple, based on the principle of de-epithelialised "turn-over" flaps.
