CT of the postsurgical ear.

D W Johnson.

Abstract

High-resolution CT has proved to be a reliable and accurate method for evaluating the postsurgical ear. The presence or absence of cholesteatoma can usually be determined. Because of this, CT is a viable alternative to the "second look" or staging surgical procedure. Methods, techniques, and case examples are discussed.
