Abstract
Pulmonary arteriovenous fistulas developed following a superior vena cava-right pulmonary artery shunt in a patient with cyanotic heart disease. An axillary arteriovenous fistula was created to improve oxygenation, but its effectiveness was compromised by the pulmonary fistulas. Transcatheter coil embolization of the pulmonary fistulas was performed with clinical improvement.Entities:
