[Bowenoid papulosis of the genito-anal region].

The recently described bowenoid papulosis of the genitoanal region is to regard as a new entity. Clinically the multiple lesions in the genitoanal region consist of red or brown papules. Histologically the lesions show dysplasia like the Bowen's disease. The bowenoid papulosis is a benign affection of young men and women. This disease is not rare. Retrospectively we found 22 patients. At this time the etiology is not known. The therapeutic possibilities are discussed.
