Abstract
The authors describe two patients suffering from hypertensive encephalopathy associated with epileptic seizures and anatomo-clinical evidences of posterior cerebral damage. The concordant electroencephalographic features with clinical signs and anatomic lesions of these two patients are discussed, in order to make some considerations about the role played by the blood-brain-barrier damage on the physiopathology of the hypertensive encephalopathy.Entities:
