Congenital dermoid cyst of the anterior fontanel in a Japanese infant.

Abstract

A congenital dermoid cyst located over the anterior fontanel is described in a Japanese infant. This is the sixth reported case of the lesion in Japanese patients. The literature is reviewed, and the concept that dermoid cysts of the anterior fontanel do not predominantly occur in blacks is supported.
