Abstract
A case of an acute microwave-oven injury is presented, demonstrating a selective radial hand neuropathy and chronic moderate dysesthesia with discussion of the potential mechanism of disease. Microwave characteristics, their spectrum of effects on biological structures, microwave-oven safety design, and the international controversy concerning nonionizing radiation research are described.Entities:
