Abstract
Two groups of children with cerebral palsy are compared with respect to the migration of the hip before and after 36 adductor transfers and 29 adductor tenotomies. The results in the two series are positive, with no significant difference (4 and 7%/year, respectively). Adductor transfer is a more stressful intervention for the child, with no proven advantage as yet. Therefore, we have for the time being withdrawn this procedure in favor of adductor tenotomy.Entities:
