Abstract
Four cases of phaeohyphomycosis in the form of chronic and isolated cysts are presented. The cysts were strictly confined to the subcutaneous tissue, with no involvement of the corresponding skin. Patients were asymptomatic, without satellite lesions or regional lymphadenopathy. The clinicopathologic importance of this type of phaeohyphomycosis is discussed. As far as we know, our cases are the first described from Brazil.Entities:
