Pharmacokinetics: statistical moment calculations.

Abstract

A program for the HP-41C calculator allows the determination of the first three statistical moments, area under the curve (moment zero), mean residence time (first moment) and variance of residence time (second moment) of drug concentration-time curves which are used for noncompartmental pharmacokinetic analyses. Applications of this theory are given.
