Abstract
The association of clubbing, growth retardation, pallor, abdominal distension, and prolonged bloody diarrhoea with whipworm (Trichuris trichiura) infestation is described and discussed. Failure to recognise this association leads to misdiagnosis and unnecessary investigation.Entities:
