Abstract
A simple and rapid method is described for the determination of 6-thiouric acid in the urine of patients receiving azathioprine (Imuran, Burroughs Wellcome). The technique makes use of anion exchange column chromatography to isolate the 6-thiouric acid which is then measured by its absorption at 356 nm.Entities:
