Burn injuries in Jordan: a study of 338 cases.

Abstract

Three hundred and thirty-eight cases of different types of burns were treated at the Jordan University Hospital over a five year period (1976-80 inclusive). Flame burns were the commonest type, and most of the burn injuries occurred at home. Children below the age of five years were the most frequently affected among burn injury victims.
