Abstract
Planning the addition to an existing health sciences library building involved problems not normally encountered in planning a totally new structure. Some of the problems in combining the old and new buildings of the Medical College of Georgia Library and their resolution are discussed in this paper. Emphasized in particular is the relationship between institutional goals, library goals, and the library building.Mesh：
