Abstract
Decaprenyl pyrophosphate synthetase which catalyzes the synthesis of all-trans-decaprenyl pyrophosphate from isopentenyl pyrophosphate and either farnesyl pyrophosphate or geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate has been partially purified from mitochondria of pig liver. This enzyme lacks dimethylallyl-transferring and geranyl-transferring activities.Entities:
