Unilateral supernumerary kidney associated with hypertensive encephalopathy in a child.

Abstract

An afebrile 8-year-old boy presented with convulsions, coma and hypertension. Laboratory investigations were normal. Excretory urography and angiography showed a left supernumerary kidney. The literature on this rare anomaly is briefly reviewed.
