Rapid quantitation of cyanide in blood by gas chromatography.

F McAuley, D S Reive.

Abstract

A gas chromatographic method for the quantitative analysis of cyanide in blood has been developed. The analysis employs a headspace sampler and a nitrogen-phosphorus detector. The method is suitable for rapid, semi-automated quantitation when an auto-sampler and a data system are employed.
