Abstract
Acetylator phenotype was determined in 54 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) taking dapsone in the course of 2 comparative clinical studies. No significant differences were demonstrated in the assessments, either of efficacy or adverse effects. There appears to be no clinical advantage in assessing acetylator phenotype in patients with RA being treated with dapsone.Entities:
