Abstract
A high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) analysis for tetrahydrozoline and naphazoline in ophthalmic solutions is presented. The analysis allows a more reproducible, direct stability-indicating assay than the colorimetric methods generally employed. The HPLC system is so designed that a variety of ophthalmic solutions containing either naphazoline or tetrahydrozoline can be analyzed concomitantly.Entities:
