Abstract
A patient with dilated cardiomyopathy was proven to have unsuspected severe myocarditis on endomyocardial biopsy. There was no history of an antecedent viral infection. Procainamide therapy had recently been initiated and was discontinued after the biopsy results were available. A repeat endomyocardial biopsy showed resolution of the inflammation.Entities:
