Abstract
Panniculitis occurred in a 34-year-old man. The clinical features of the panniculitis were not consistent with erythema nodosum, Weber-Christian disease, or the other previously described panniculitides. Subsequent investigation showed concurrent hepatitis possibly caused by type A hepatitis virus. The skin lesions resolved following treatment with oral indomethacin. We believe this is the first report of a case of nonerythema nodosum panniculitis associated with viral hepatitis.Entities:
