Abstract
Elderly people were interviewed to determine to what extent they anticipate, plan for, and prepare to deal with predictable future crises in the areas of living arrangements, finances, and health. The author of this article found that most of the old people in the sample did not make arrangements to cope with crises. Implications for social workers involved in discharge planning are discussed.Entities:
