Abstract
Conventional angiography has an established value in the diagnostic evaluation of the injured patient, but its use as an invasive and time-consuming method is limited. Digital subtraction angiography (dsa) as a method of intravenous arteriography opens a new diagnostic approach. Among 800 patients examined by means of the dsa in 9 months we had 16 injured patients. The special value of this noninvasive and time-saving method has been shown in the diagnosis of suspected lacerations of the thoracic aorta.Entities:
