T and B lymphocytes in peripheral blood and tonsils of children after tonsillectomy.

Abstract

In a group of 50 children suffering from chronic tonsillitis an increased number of B lymphocytes and decreased number of T lymphocytes was found. The same children after tonsillectomy had almost normal number of T and B lymphocytes.
