Abstract
Two New Zealand white rabbits which were used in a teratology experiment had a unilateral corneal opacity. The affected eye had a raised opaque membrane that extended from the limbus toward the center of the cornea to form a ring at the corneal margin. Sections of cornea showed local areas of thickened, elevated epithelium interspersed with areas of abnormally thin epithelium. A diagnosis of corneal epithelial dystrophy was made.Entities:
