The "swallowed bullet" syndrome.

Abstract

A unique case is reported in which a bullet, after entering the maxillary antrum, penetrated the hard palate, was deflected into the esophagus where it struck the cervical spine, and then passed uneventfully through the gastrointestinal tract.
