Is uveitis associated with ankylosing spondylitis or with HLA-B27?

S van der Linden, H A Valkenburg, A Cats.

Abstract

Acute anterior uveitis (AAU) is more often seen in ankylosing spondylitis (AS) patients with severe disease than in HLA-B27 positive relatives with or without sacroiliitis. Possibly the prevalence of AAU is associated with the severity of AS.
