Abstract
One case of a pontine haematoma with clinical symptoms of cerebellopontine angle tumour is described. The haematoma was successfully evacuated, and preoperative neurological deficits disappeared except for minimal right fifth nerve palsy. The pathological specimen was diagnosed as arteriovenous malformation. Lateropontine haematomas must be included in the differential diagnosis of cerebellopontine angle tumours.Entities:
