Abstract
An uncommon case of squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue in a young adult is presented. The lesion was physically related to a metallurgically flawed gold crown that was in place for 15 years. Detailed recording of findings and reporting of nontypical cases of oral cancer is suggested with a view to identification of etiologic factors.Entities:
