Abstract
A case of acute intestinal obstruction due to volvulus of the splenic flexure of the colon in an 11 year old girl is reported. This is believed to be the first reported case in the paediatric age group. Simple derotation and fixation of the splenic flexure in the normal position was carried out with a successful outcome.Entities:
