Abstract
The permeability of the rabbit lens and human cataractous lens posterior capsule to epinephrine and trypan blue and the absorption of ultraviolet and visible light through the posterior capsule were studied in vitro. The posterior capsule served as a barrier to large nonelectrolytes or negative electrolytes other than trypan blue, but it did not impede epinephrine, ultraviolet or visible light.Entities:
