Abstract
Three cases of legionellosis caused by Legionella pneumophila serogroup 6 are reported and a brief review of similar cases in New Zealand in 1982 is made. Legionellosis appears more common in New Zealand than was previously thought. In 1982 50% of reported cases occurred in the Wellington region and a uniquely high incidence of legionellosis due to serogroup 6 was observed.Entities:
