The use of triangle analysis for cephalometric analysis in three dimensions.

A cephalometric analysis, known as the Stellenbosch -triangle analysis, has been developed for the postero-anterior (PA) and basilar cephalograms. Three dimensional analyses may be drawn and evaluated from the lateral, PA and basilar cephalometric tracings. Two patients with facial deformities, were evaluated according to this system and pre- and postoperative tracings are presented.
