[Agenesis of the superior central incisor. Its relation to pituitary nanism].

Two cases of agenesis of the upper central incisor were treated in the Department of Stomatology and Maxillofacial Surgery, Nantes, France. A review of the pertinent published literature showed that although this type of agenesis could be an isolated phenomenon, it could also (as with certain median structure anomalies) be associated with pituitary dwarfism, a not uncommon situation since this was the case in 8 out of 18 cases reported.
