Effect of vagotomy upon the neurohistochemical and ultrastructural integrity of the integrity of the inbuilt intrinsic nervous apparatus of the choledocho-duodenal junction.

K Kyösola.

Abstract

The neurons of the choledocho-duodenal junction of the cat were shown to be neurohistochemically and morphologically independent of their extrinsic vagal connections. The effect of vagotomies upon the intrinsic nerve nets was also quite negligible.
