Abstract
A 27-year-old man with acute monoblastic leukemia had clinical and laboratory evidence of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), which was exacerbated by induction chemotherapy. Heparin therapy, adjusted according to the patient's clinical status and the results of coagulation studies, rapidly controlled the manifestations of DIC.Entities:
