A modified segregator for collection of human submandibular and sublingual saliva.

G R Parr, S E Bustos-Valdes.

Abstract

A saliva collection device is described that can be used in the presence of anatomical variations such as tilted teeth and lingual tori. The integrity of the seal can be tested by monitoring pH and flow rates and also by noting the viscosity of the secretions collected.
