Superficial radial neuritis and De Quervain's disease. Report of three cases.

M R Rask.

Abstract

Three patients with De Quervain's disease developed superficial radial neuritis, a complication which seems not to have been considered in the literature. All 3 patients were women. One responded to conservative therapy and the other 2 required tenolysis of the abductor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis brevis tendon sheaths to relieve symptoms.
