A simple colorimetric method for ascorbic acid determination in blood plasma.

Abstract

The paper describes a simple method for determination of ascorbic acid using acid phosphotungstate. The reagent has been found to be specific and sensitive to ascorbic acid and can be used for ascorbic acid determination in plasma with good reproducibility.
