Abstract
A 33-year-old white man was treated with irradiation for Hodgkin's disease involving the mediastinum; four years later he developed typical Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic granulocytic leukemia. The patient has been treated with chronic low-dose busulfan to maintain peripheral blood counts in the normal range and he continues to remain well 27 years after the initial diagnosis of Hodgkin's disease and 23 years following the onset of leukemia.Entities:
