Abstract
Fifty female offenders ranging in age from 18 to 44 yr from the Purdy Treatment Center for Women (Washington state) were individually screened for articulation, hearing, receptive language, fluency (stuttering), and voice disorders. Results indicate that 44% of the 50 women evidenced a dysfunction in one or more of these areas.Entities:
