Abstract
I am concerned that public health nursing as many of us have known it may disappear unless we become much more skilled in developing and marketing services that the public--particularly high risk target aggregates--needs and will use, and whose termination they will protest. Use of the marketing concepts and approaches I have described can help us to continue to make a valuable contribution to the public's health and help ensure that public health nurses do not become an endangered species. Thus, our utilization of sound marketing approaches is not only good business, but also good public health.Mesh:
