Management of peripheral nerve problems. Selected laboratory studies with potential clinical application.

Studies are needed to correlate central nervous system regenerative events to those degenerative events occurring in the periphery. We need to understand the complex relationship between the reinnervated peripheral end organs and integration of impulses to the central nervous system.
