Abstract
A phenomenon resembling social facilitation of muricide was described. Rats, who were already established mouse killers, killed mice faster in the presence of a large number of rats continuously killing mice. Evidence was presented which supports the argument that the facilitation was transmitted through auditory rather than olfactory cues.Entities:
