Abstract
Airborne chemosignals from different phases of the rat's estrous cycle had opposing effects on the timing of the estrous cycle which were consistent with a coupled oscillator model of ovarian synchrony. Preovulatory odors shortened or phase advanced the ovarian cycle, whereas ovulatory odors lengthened or phase delayed the cycle.Entities:
