Abstract
Experimental infections with Bordetella bronchiseptica and a toxigenic strain of Pasteurella multocida were carried out in newborn piglets from 25 sows. Severe progressive atrophic rhinitis corresponding to the natural disease was produced. The effect of vaccination of sows during pregnancy with two vaccines containing antigens from B. bronchiseptica and toxigenic P. multocida on the incidence of nasal lesions in the offspring was studied.Entities:
